By submitting the HITCON Training 2023 - Call for Training, the trainer understands and agrees to the following terms:
When presenting the course content at HITCON Training 2023, you agree that the organizers may record, reproduce, distribute, and use the material for advertising purposes, and may publish your course information, materials, and audiovisual materials during the course preparation process through websites, email, print media, and other means.
The Review Board will have access to all submitted applications and materials, and is provisioned under NDA with HITCON.
Classroom will provide a projector, a projection screen, wired or wireless internet, and a microphone for instructors to use during their lectures. Instructors must prepare other necessary equipment for teaching, such as laptops and other devices, on their own.
Teaching at HITCON Training is not only an honor but also represents the HITCON brand. We welcome instructors to collaborate with HITCON Training, showcasing their own value and elevating the HITCON brand together.
If you wish to submit a proposal for HITCON Training 2023, please complete the “HITCON Training 2023 - Call for Training” submission form by May 19, at 23:59:59.2023 (GMT+8), and provide relevant course information for the review of the selection committee. Please submit your syllabus and course description as soon as possible. If all time slots for this year are filled, HITCON reserves the right to close before the deadline.
Selected speakers for HITCON Training 2023 must have at least 10 (inclusive) participants to start the course, with a maximum of 30 participants. After accepting submission for the lecture, we will contact the speaker to explain the details of the teaching fee, and pay the speaker a fixed fee based on the duration of each lecture after its completion.
Transportation for Speakers:
Domestic speakers will be reimbursed for actual transportation expenses based on receipts.
International speakers will be reimbursed for a maximum of $300 USD for airfare. (International speakers are those who are not from Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, or Matsu.)
Note. This regulation is not limited to invited foreign speakers.
HITCON Training 2023 Course Hours: Courses are offered in 6-hour, 12-hour, and 18-hour sessions. Speakers must determine the appropriate length of the course when submitting the proposal.
Speaker Benefits (one benefit per course) :
HITCON Training 2023 will provide the following accommodation based on the course duration (including one night before the training):
6-hour course: 2 nights of accommodation.
12-hour course: 3 nights of accommodation.
18-hour course: 4 nights of accommodation.
One ticket to HITCON Community 2023 will be provided, with the following information:
Date: Friday, August 18th to Saturday, August 19th (GMT+8).
Location: Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences Building, Academia Sinica. (No. 128, Sec. 2, Academia Rd., Nangang Dist., Taipei City, Taiwan).
Note: This benefit is subject to adjustments based on the format of HITCON Community 2023, and the organizers of HITCON Community reserve the right to make final modifications, changes, interpretations, and cancellations.

Location: Taipei City, Taiwan. If the minimum number of participants for the class is reached, the organizer will announce the class location as soon as possible.
