Russia invaded Ukraine in early 2022 and caused ripple effects around the globe. However, this kind of military conflict is the first between two countries with well-developed network infrastructure. As a result, cyberspace has become a contested warfield. In this chaotic year, HITCON PEACE 2022 wished to protect our society through the power of hacker community and culture.

We've invited Mark Parsons and Justin Warner, analysts from Microsoft's Threat Intelligence Center (MSTIC), to bring us insights of network threats around the globe, what they learned from the Russo-Ukraine war, and cyber attacks targeted against Taiwan.
