HITCON 2017 Community will begin on 8/25(Fri.). In this two-day event, there are some important notices that we would like you to know. Please take a look at them down below and feel free to contact our staffs if you have any questions. We wish you a pleasant time at HITCON CMT!
【 Date 】
- Aug. 25 (Fri) 2017 08:30～17:10
(Registration 08 : 30～09 : 20、Tea Break is served from 08:30) - Aug. 26 (Sat) 2017 08:30～16:20
(Registration 08: 0～09:00、Tea Break is served from 08:30)
【 Venue 】
Humanities & Social Sciences Building, Academia Sinica (No.128, Sec. 2, Academia Rd., Nangang Dist., Taipei City 115, Taiwan)
【 Traffic Information 】
- Shuttle bus: There are shuttle buses of HITCON in two days. Please go to MRT Nangang Exhibition Center Station Exit 1 and take the escalator, then stay at the stop left. (https://goo.gl/RJy3cR)
- Bus: take line 212, 276, 306, 620, 645, 679, 205, 5, 1, 12 to Academia Sinica Station.
- To Venue: Walk through the Hi-Life CVS and turn left, then walk through the main entrance and turn right. Walk straight along the main route.
【 Registration 】
- Registration begins at 8:30 A.M.
- Please present your “KKTIX” ticket QRCode at the registration counter or the PDF ticket shown in your email. To enter the venue faster, we recommend you print out the email with KKTIX ticket QRCode or use KKTIX app.
- Your ticket QRCode is valid for single entrance only. DO NOT give your ticket information to others.
- If you’re using a student discount ticket, please present any valid certificates listed below.
- College Student ID (with current semester registration stamp will do)
- College diploma (Current semester diploma, please also bring an additional ID for reference)
- College transcript (Current semester transcript with an additional ID for reference)
【 Meal 】
- You’re encouraged to bring your own thermal mugs. Paper cups will also be provided. (please reuse them)
- Please recycle the lunchbox and plates.
【 During Sessions 】
- English and Chinese interpreting service will be available through online streaming. Please bring your own headsets and ethernet cables.
- There are ethernet sockets near the seats. Please bring your own cable, we’re not able to provide additional ones. Wireless network on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands will also be available. For security and reliability reasons, please use ethernet connections first.
- Wifi SSID (It is strongly recommended that setup a VPN before actually using the network , and a must to change the default gateway , otherwise ,the outgoing network traffic still remain unencrypted.)

【 Invoice 】
- We send all the invoices before event. Please take your invoice at information desk before 10:00 A.M. We will donate these invoices after the event.

【 Attention 】
- This year we still have a lot of attendees, please arrive earlier if you can. Seats are not guaranteed, and please don’t occupy the vacant seats.
- Wear your badge throughout the two-day event. Without the badge you will not be able to enter.
- This year we cannot take on-site registrations because there are already a great number of attendees.
- For other related regulations please refer to the organizers.

There are maps at every floor. It's good for tou to find the stand in Academia Sinica.
