HITCON 2012 Call For Papers

This is the 8th year of Hacks in Taiwan security conference.
The exciting event will be held on 20th and 21st of July in Taipei.
We are very pleased to announce the Call For Papers for HIT2012.

Topics

Any security related researches are acceptable.
Especially we are very welcome to any hacking techniques on mobile devices this year.

Possible topics for submission include, but not limited to:

- Mobile Device Hacking Techniques

- Exploit Techniques

- Honeypot

- Virus and Antivirus

- Reverse Engineering

- Software Auditing and Vulnerability Research

- Backdoor and Rootkit

- Web and Database Security

- Firewall, Web Application Firewall, and IDS/IPS

- System Hardening

- Covert Channel Techniques


Submission

We accept submissions in both Chinese and English. Please make sure to include the topic, your name, names of collaborators, and contact information (e-mail) on the first page of paper. The submissions will not be published without your permission.

Please submit your paper in PDF format to hit2012 [at] hitcon.org before 15th of June, 2012. Accepted papers will be presented in the conference. Each paper is typically the focus of 50 minutes of presentation and discussion. We will pay a speaking honorarium of $3000 TWD to each speaker.
